The texture is so thick and luscious straight from the can, like a rich butter, and it whips up beautifully with just a little whisking. I love that it’s only coconut and a touch of water, so there’s no weird added sugar or gums messing with the taste.
I’ve tried a lot of coconut creams that separate or taste watery, but this one stays thick and rich right out of the can—perfect for curries and even whipped desserts. The fact that it’s just pressed coconut meat and a bit of filtered water makes me feel good about using it every week.
The ingredient list is refreshingly pure—just coconut meat, filtered water, and a touch of guar gum for texture. I used it to make a rich curry sauce and it emulsified perfectly without any sugar or sweetener aftertaste. Two cans in my pantry now, always.
