I swapped this one-to-one for cornstarch in my pot pie filling and the texture came out glossy and thick, no lumps at all. It also worked beautifully for a quick soup slurry.
My pie filling came out perfectly clear and glossy instead of cloudy, and it thickened up fast without any lumps. This tapioca starch has been my go-to for gravies and fruit pies all month.
Works great as a 1-to-1 swap for cornstarch in my gravy and fruit pies, and it thickens without leaving any chalky aftertaste. Only minor gripe is the bag doesn't reseal well, so I just clip it shut.
