Em 1978, a Edward & Sons introduziu os primeiros Brown Rice Snaps®. Cozidos no forno em vez de fritos, foram pioneiros de uma nova geração de snacks saudáveis de cereais integrais. Para criar os Brown Rice Snaps®, o arroz integral 100% é cuidadosamente limpo e depois moído numa farinha fina que contém os nutrientes essenciais do grão inteiro. Em seguida, esta farinha de arroz integral é ligeiramente cozida a vapor, amassada, moldada e cozida no forno até ficar dourada, sem adição de óleos. O passo final é adicionar sementes de sésamo para um sabor satisfatório e salgado de sésamo. Adequado para dietas sem glúten, sem sódio e com baixo teor de gordura. Verificado pelo Projeto Non-GMO.
