Our Young Jackfruit is picked before its starch changes into sugar making its neutral flavor and "meaty" texture a great meatless alternative. Most jackfruit contains preservatives and additives in a can, but this boxed jackfruit contains one ingredient only: jackfruit! Due to oxidation and no preservatives our jackfruit is brown in color, making it even meatier in texture and appearance. Suitable for low-sodium diets. The perfect addition to your meatless dish! Please note this is a 4.4 lb bulk product in a vacuum sealed pouch.
