These panko got perfectly crispy on my chicken katsu without soaking up too much oil, and the organic label makes me feel better about using them for everyday breading.
The low-sodium part is what sold me, and it really lets the natural flavor of the fried fish come through. These Japanese-style crumbs gave a light, airy crunch that didn't turn greasy, perfect for my veggie tempura night.
My shrimp tempura came out so crispy and light thanks to these crumbs. They have that perfect coarse Japanese-style texture, and I didn't mind that they're low-sodium since the dipping sauce adds plenty of flavor.
