En 1978, Edward & Sons presentó las primeras Brown Rice Snaps®. Horneadas en lugar de fritas, fueron pioneras en una nueva generación de aperitivos saludables de grano entero. Para crear Brown Rice Snaps®, se limpia cuidadosamente arroz integral 100%, y luego se muele hasta obtener una harina fina que contiene los nutrientes esenciales del grano entero. A continuación, esta harina de arroz integral se cuece ligeramente al vapor, se amasa, se le da forma y se hornea hasta lograr un dorado perfecto sin aceites añadidos.
